About the Role:
A high-achieving secondary school in Amersham is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to teach well-resourced classes across Key Stages 3 to 5, in a supportive and forward-thinking environment that values digital literacy and innovation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons, developing learnersandrsquo; technical skills and critical thinking, and preparing students for GCSE and A-Level assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
andbull; Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
andbull; Teach across KS3andndash;KS5, including preparation for GCSE and A-Level
andbull; Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs
andbull; Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
andbull; Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and extracurricular clubs
andbull; Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student achievement
Qualifications andamp; Requirements:
andbull; Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
andbull; Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related subject
andbull; Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3andndash;KS4 (KS5 desirable)
andbull; Strong classroom management and communication skills
andbull; A passion for digital learning and technological advancement in education
andbull; An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
