We are currently recruiting for an experienced Punch Press Setter to join a busy production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in metal fabrication or precision engineering to work in a well-established and supportive environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate mechanical or hydraulic punch press machines
- Install and align dies, punches, and tooling to exact specifications
- Carry out first-off and in-process quality checks
- Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Work from technical drawings and production schedules
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with HandS standards

 
Requirements

- Proven experience setting and operating punch press machinery
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good understanding of sheet metal processes and materials
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift or overhead crane experience (desirable but not essential)
