Simply Education is seeking an enthusiastic and well-organised Science Technician to join our successful Science Department in a school. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of exciting and engaging science lessons across Key Stages 3-5. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for science and a keen eye for detail to contribute to high-quality teaching and learning.ResponsibilitiesLead the technical support across Biology, Chemistry, and PhysicsPrepare and set up practical experiments and demonstrationsMaintain and manage laboratory equipment, stock, and resourcesEnsure health and safety standards are always upheldSupport teaching staff in delivering engaging and safe practical lessonsRequirementsHas previous experience working in a school science lab or a lab environment similar environmentPossesses strong organisational and communication skillsHas a good understanding of health and safety in a laboratory setting.Is confident working independently and as part of a teamAll candidates who register with Simply Education are required to provide references for the previous 2 years of work, as well as complete an enhanced DBS check.
