South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation TrustWe are pleased to announce that an opportunity for an experienced RMN Band 6 and above, to lead our Multi-Disciplinary Team on our adult acute inpatient ward.Rosa Parks Ward is an 18-bedded male acute ward, currently based at Lambeth Hospital but will soon move to New Douglas Bennet House in Maudsley Hospital.The multi-disciplinary team is dynamic and diverse, including RMNs, CSWs, an OT, doctors and a consultant who work closely to support patients on their recovery journey. Patients also have access to a psychology and art therapy while on the ward.Responsibilities
Responsible for the operational management of clinical area.Lead and effectively manage the ward nursing team.Ensure high standards of evidence-based, patient centered care are maintained.To establish and maintain systems for clinical governance.To effectively and efficiently manage ward budget and resources.To promote good communication within the team and with external agencies.Benefits
