We re working with a well-established hire business in the Essex area who are looking to bring in an experienced Small Tools Fitter to join their depot team. This is a hands-on role focused on the service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of small plant and tools, with occasional site visits when required. The Role Service, repair and maintain a variety of small tools and equipment Work across electric (110v and 240v), petrol, diesel and 2-stroke machinery Complete service and maintenance records accurately Liaise directly with customers when required Primarily depot-based, with occasional site breakdown attendance Take part in training and development programmes What We re Looking For Proven experience working with small tools and plant equipment Strong knowledge of electric, diesel, petrol and hydraulic systems PAT Testing experience is essential NVQ in Tool Maintenance (or equivalent) desirable A methodical, problem-solving mindset Good communication skills Full UK driving licence What s on Offer Salary up to £35,000, dependent on experience Clear progression opportunities within a growing business Monday to Friday, 7:30am 5:30pm 25 days holiday + bank holidays Company pension scheme
