Mobile Field Service Engineer | Heavy Plant & Construction Equipment

Location: Home-Based (Cheshire, occasional UK travel)
Hours: Mon-Fri, 39 hrs contracted (55-65 hrs typical with overtime)
Rate of Pay: -18-20/hr basic + OT (1.5x & 2x) | Tool & Boot Allowance | Company Van

We''re urgently seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer / Mobile Plant Technician / Heavy Equipment Mechanic to service, maintain, and repair our fleet of Volvo, Caterpillar, and Komatsu heavy earthmoving machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mobile servicing and diagnostics on customer sites and in our Cheshire workshop
• Overhauls, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
• On-site welding and gas cutting (advantageous)
• Ensure safety and cost efficiency while achieving QSHE objectives

Requirements:

• Proven experience with heavy plant, construction, or quarry equipment
• CSCS Card, First Aid, EPIC Quarry Passport, NVQ Level 2 desirable (training available)
• Full UK driving licence
• Positive, independent, and proactive attitude
