In this role, the SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will help create a positive and structured learning environment where every child feels supported and valued.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs both in and out of the classroom
  * Deliver targeted interventions and learning activities
  * Assist with communication, social development, and emotional regulation
  * Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
  * Help maintain a calm, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
  * Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals

The school is looking for a caring, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant who is committed to supporting young people. Previous experience working with children, SEN, care, or support work would be beneficial but is not essential.

You will be joining a supportive team that values collaboration and professional development. The SEN Teaching Assistant will receive ongoing training and guidance to develop their skills and experience.
