Employal is recruiting on behalf of a growing and forward-thinking business that is expanding its central marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around one to two years’ experience who wants to develop, learn and gain exposure across multiple areas of marketing.
You will be joining a supportive team where you will not be limited to one area. Instead, you will gain hands-on experience across digital marketing, content creation, customer relationship management, events and lead generation. This makes it an ideal role for someone who wants to become a well-rounded marketing professional, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and ongoing development.

The role

This is a varied and engaging position where no two days look the same. You will play a key part in supporting marketing activity across multiple areas of the business, helping to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
You will be involved in both the creative and analytical sides of marketing, including:

• Creating and updating website content and writing engaging blog articles
• Supporting email marketing campaigns from design through to reporting
• Planning and scheduling social media content, primarily for LinkedIn
• Developing case studies and gathering customer testimonials
• Assisting with design work such as social media graphics, brochures, documents and wider marketing materials
• Supporting the organisation of trade shows and exhibitions
• Managing and maintaining customer data within the company’s customer relationship management system
• Tracking marketing performance and reporting on results
• Supporting search engine optimisation activity to improve website visibility
• Opportunity to get involved in creative design work, including creating visuals and supporting branding using tools such as Canva or Adobe
• Continuously reviewing performance, suggesting improvements and contributing ideas to enhance marketing activity across the business

The candidate

This role would suit someone who is curious, creative and eager to learn, with a mindset focused on continuous improvement.

• Around one to two years’ experience in a marketing role
• Strong copywriting skills and the ability to create engaging content
• Experience managing social media platforms
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

It would be beneficial if you have experience with

• Website content management systems
• Email marketing platforms
• Customer relationship management systems such as HubSpot
• Design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
• Events or exhibition coordination
• Basic video editing tools
