We are partnering with a long-established, internationally active engineering and manufacturing business to appoint a Global Head of IT. This is a newly created role at a particularly important stage in the company s development. The business has grown successfully over many years through a highly entrepreneurial, family-owned culture and today operates across multiple international locations. As it continues to evolve as a global group, it is looking to bring in a modern IT leader who can help shape a more connected, scalable and secure future. The opportunity will suit someone who enjoys building and modernising. The business has strong foundations, but its technology environment reflects a more decentralised journey of growth. Different sites have historically operated with a high degree of independence, systems maturity varies across the group, and there is a clear need to introduce more modern best practice in areas such as cloud, cyber security, infrastructure, governance and systems strategy. Reporting to the CEO, the Global Head of IT will lead the development and delivery of the company s IT roadmap across infrastructure, cyber security, enterprise systems and team capability.
