The position is available to start in September 2025.

The school is based close to Salisbury town centre for students aged from 4-16 years who have additional needs; mainly autism. The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos and use of indoor and outdoor spaces to expand studentsandrsquo; opportunities and experiences. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care and assistance to students with various emotional, and learning needs.
• Assist students with daily activities such as: core subject learning such as English and Math, encouraging independence, supporting communication and collaborative learning.
• Support students in participating in educational activities and lessons.
• Ensure studentsandrsquo; safety and comfort at all times.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other care professionals to create and implement individualised care plans.
• Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to the appropriate staff members.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an SEND teaching assistant or similar role (preferably within an educational or healthcare setting).
• A caring and patient approach to supporting students with special needs.
• A resilient and hardworking ethos.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with students, staff, and parents.
• An understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding practices.
• A commitment to promoting the well-being and independence of students.
• An enhanced DBS check will be required (we will assist with this process if necessary).
