Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead on a Battery Storage Plant installation project in Scotland. This role is ideal for someone with a strong electrical background and previous hands-on experience managing battery energy storage system (BESS) projects from installation through to commissioning. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day site activities on a Battery Storage installation project. Lead site operations to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification. Coordinate electrical installation works with subcontractors and internal teams. Support and manage commissioning activities in collaboration with the project and technical teams. Monitor quality, progress, and health and safety compliance on-site. Report to the Project Manager and contribute to regular project updates. Requirements: Proven experience managing Battery Storage or similar renewable energy infrastructure projects. Electrical bias ideally with an electrical engineering qualification. Experience overseeing commissioning activities. Strong understanding of health and safety and CDM regulations. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification preferred. Desirable: Experience working within an ICP (Independent Connection Provider) environment. Knowledge of HV systems and grid connections.
