Grounds Maintenance

• £13.26 per hour
• 36.25 hours per week
• Days Mon to Fri

*Driving Licence Required*

We are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operatives to cover sites throughout the Rochdale Borough. The contract will initially be temporary but could lead to permanent work for the successful candidate.

You will be responsible for maintaining communal green spaces and duties will include:

• Grass cutting
• Weeding
• Pruning and cutting shrubs and trees
• Using hand held machinery
• General tidying and maintenance

Knowledge and skills required:

• General awareness of Health and Safety and an ability to work in line with risk assessments
• Able to work with minimum supervision and use your own initiative
• Ability to undertake a wide variety of work including heavy lifting
• Excellent customer service skills – put the customer first
• You must hold a full driving licence
