We are currently working with a primary school in the Bradford area who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in class. This is a full time role starting in September and working on an ongoing basis. In this role, you will: Work collaboratively within class under the direction of the class teacher. Provide support to pupils in the classroom to facilitate their learning and personal development. Assist in the management of pupils and the classroom environment. Support pupils in meeting their personal needs, promoting independence and confidence. Key Responsibilities Support the class teacher in delivering the curriculum to pupils with SEND. Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning materials to suit individual needs. Encourage and promote positive behaviour and social interactions among pupils. Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to the class teacher. Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment. We are looking for candidates who: Have experience working with children or young people, preferably with a range of SEND. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting the needs of pupils. Are proactive, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
