Based in its office in Newcastle.This role offers the chance to work within a highly experienced and supportive team acting for vulnerable individuals who lack the mental capacity to manage their own financial and personal affairs. You will handle a varied caseload covering deputyship matters, advisory work and complex welfare and financial disputes, helping to deliver genuinely life-changing outcomes for clients and their families.The position provides a collaborative environment, high-quality supervision and the opportunity to develop specialist expertise in this sensitive and rewarding area of law.Candidate Profile / Experience NeededThe firm is seeking a compassionate and organised Newly Qualified Solicitor with a clear interest in Court of Protection work.Key requirements include: NQ Solicitor (or due to qualify) with exposure to Court of Protection or Mental Capacity matters.Ability to manage a varied caseload while supporting senior lawyers on complex, high-value cases.Strong client care skills, with the empathy and professionalism required when working with vulnerable individuals and their families.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.A collaborative team player
