The aim is to ensure data is complete, accurate, and compliant with the CIPFA Code of Practice and the council''s accounting policies.We''re Hiring Across LevelsDue to the scale of the project, we are looking for Technical Accountants from junior to senior level, all of whom must have experience working within a local authority environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct substantive testing of balance sheet balances to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.Evaluate estimation techniques and ensure they are evidence-based and policy-compliant.Assess and support the implementation of effective balance sheet controls and reconciliations.Undertake or review reconciliations and clear holding/suspense accounts.Recommend and support improvements to financial processes, including training and guidance.Skills and Experience RequiredFull or part CCAB qualification.Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage
