Estimator Civil Engineering Permanent Location: Aberdeen / WFH Hybrid Salary: £negotiable DOE Ref: GR1471 Gibson Recruitment Limited Your New Role: National Civil Engineering Contractor with a growing team and enviable footprint of projects across the country have a requirement for an experienced ESTIMATOR to join their pre-construction team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a CIVILS ESTIMATOR to join an expanding Contractor as they extend their presence in the Scottish Construction Industry. Applications are encouraged from individuals who have a Civil Engineering qualification and have demonstrable experience as a Site Engineer prior to transitioning into an Estimating role. Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for a range of civil engineering works. Review and interpret tender documentation, specifications, and drawings. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and technical input. Produce Bills of Quantities and take-offs from drawings. Identify and assess risks associated with project tenders. Support bid submissions and presentations to clients. Work closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure tender proposals are achievable and competitive. Candidate Requirements: Experienced as an Estimator in civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction. Good understanding of civil engineering methods, materials, and rates.
