The Role Our client is a 68-year old male, who is seeking a male rehab support worker with whom he can build good rapport, and who has an interest in sports and fishing, which is what he used to enjoy. They should preferably have experience supporting clients with communication and mobility difficulties, as the client can only speak a few words, and his support worker will need to be skilled in interpreting in order to communicate effectively. The RSW should be able to support mobility, and accessing indoors and outside environment safely. The RSW should be able to motivate the client, and help him to engage in social and leisure pursuits both at home, e.g. board games, card games, as well as therapy exercises from Physio and SALT.
