Primary School Setting | Nursery Provision

Academics / Term Time Teachers are currently recruiting for a qualified CACHE Level 3 Nursery Assistant to work within the nursery provision of a welcoming primary school based in Lewes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive primary school environment, working closely with the Early Years team to provide high-quality care and education to nursery-aged children.

• Supporting children within the Nursery class

• Delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework

• Supporting children''s early development, learning, and social skills

• Assisting with observations and contributing to learning journals

• Promoting a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

• Working collaboratively with the class teacher and Early Years staff

• A CACHE Level 3 qualification (or equivalent Early Years qualification)

• Previous experience supporting nursery-aged children

• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework

• A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
