Job descriptionSEN Graduate Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) - Leeds Location: Primary/Secondary Schools across Leeds Job Type: Long-term Salary: Competitive, dependent on experienceAre you an experienced SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role supporting students 1:1 in schools across Leeds? Aspire People are currently recruiting for high-demand SEN 1:1 TA positions within alternative provisions, pupil referral units (PRUs), and mainstream schools for September 2025.About the Role: Provide 1:1 support for students with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties. Work within alternative provisions, PRUs, and mainstream schools, supporting students with challenging behaviour. Assist in implementing EHCPs and individual behaviour management strategies. Build positive relationships to support students'' academic and personal development. Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to create a nurturing learning environment.Requirements:UK Bachelors degree related to SEN like PsychologyPrevious experience working with children with SEN in the UK (essential).Strong behaviour management skills - experience dealing with challenging behaviour is a must.Patience, resilience, and a passion for supporting vulnerable young people.A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
