An opportunity exists for a Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a portion of the HS2 project near Aylesbury. This role is temporary for 6 months. You''ll report to the Commercial Manager for the section and will be responsible for tender pricing; risk assessments and contract drafting / negotiations. In this fast-paced role you can expect to work both within a supporting nature as well as independently leading on your own projects. Your duties will include Cost and Value reconciliations, Cost reporting and cash management. Build strong working relationships with the client and key colleagues. Contract administration which includes data reporting and record keeping. Subcontract account management, payment and dispute management Contribute to project performance discussions, providing commercial input to project strategy.
