We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Assistant Technical Officer to join the Biosimilar Switch team at the Royal London Hospital. The post holder will support RLH and MEH in delivering biosimilar switches and medicines efficiencies within the specialist medicine division. The role may adapt depending on hospital needs.The post holder will work closely with the Biosimilar Switch Team and Homecare Team to process and deliver biosimilar cost-saving projects and medicines efficiencies across RLH and MEH sites.Responsibilities include supporting the Biosimilar Switch team, assisting the Homecare team with ordering, delivery note checking, invoice processing, and handling finance queries. The role may also involve ward, top-up, and dispensary-based responsibilities.Additional duties include supporting the Royal London Pharmacy department and divisions, working under the direction of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, and liaising with the Lead Biosimilar Switch Pharmacist on activity progress.Barts Health NHS Trust is one of the largest NHS trusts in the UK, committed to excellence, innovation, and providing safe, compassionate care.
