Bricklayers Labourer / Hod Carriers needed in Cambridge CB3

Location: Cambridge CB3

Rate: £16.50 per hour

Duration: 3-4 months work

Start Date: Monday 28th July 2025

Hours: 7.30 to 4.30pm

Hours Paid per day: Minimum 8.5 hrs paid per day

Job Description:

Stridden Limited are recruiting for an established Brickwork Contractor who are currently looking for experienced Bricklayers Labourer / Hod Carriers to join their busy site in Cambridge CB3. This is a long-term opportunity for a dependable individual looking to secure consistent daily work with a professional team of bricklayers.

Bricklayers Labourer / Hod Carriers Key Duties:

• Carrying bricks and mortar to support bricklayers
• Mixing up mortar and ensuring consistent supply on site
• Keeping work areas clean and organised
• Assisting bricklayers and other site workers as required
• General labouring and site support tasks

Bricklayers Labourer / Hod Carriers Requirements:

• Minimum of Green CSCS Card
• Own tools (Shovel and Bucket preferred)
• Previous experience as a hod carrier preferred
• Must be physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Ability to commute to Cambridge site reliably
• Must provide at least one work references relevant to hod carrying or construction
