Hardware Electronics Test Engineer - INSIDE IR35 - No Sponsorship available Job Description Our client are a leader in the telecommunications industry and they are looking for a Hardware Electronics Test Engineer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract working in a hybrid way out of their office in Brentwood. Responsibilities:Take ownership of the team''s hardware testing and also produce test reports including some at external test housesOptimises their scripts and test tools to help improve their overall efficiencyProvide support to their Design and Development teams on their product testing and evaluation and also recommend any further investigations when requiredCreate and own development of test plans for any of our client''s new technologies or products Experience:An engineering mindset with eagerness to learn new skillsWork with electronics test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Digital multimeters, and spectrum analysers)A background in electronicsAn understanding of compliance standards (EMC, Radio, Safety)The ability to use test and validation methodologies with scripts to test hardware and/or systems and platformsBe able to sort and present test data to showcase the outcomes of testsThe ability to work with developers to design test cases for new products/technology (not essential) Experience in summarising technical information with varying levels of detail, and being able to change this depending on your audience (not essential) Experience managing a test works
