Key duties include but are not limited to: Procurement and Sourcing: Identify and source agricultural feedstocks, fresh produce residues, and by-products from farms, food processors, and other agricultural producers. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, agricultural businesses, other suppliers and biogas plants. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply chain dynamics to ensure competitive purchasing and selling strategies. Provide insights into the most effective procurement methods. Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination: Oversee the logistics of transporting feedstocks to biogas plants, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining cost-efficiency. Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate storage, handling, and processing needs. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all feedstock procurement processes adhere to relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as industry best practices.
