Our exclusive client based in Accrington are currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant. This niche company is doing fantastically well and have great plans for the next few years and need a strong Accounts Assistant to take over the day to day transactional accounting duties.Duties include:Full autonomy of the purchase ledger including processing, checking, scanning and sending out invoicesStatement reconciliations and dealing with supplier queriesPreparing the monthly payment runProcessing expenses including credit cards and personal business expensesChecking profit margins on invoices and check with sales team where necessaryEmailing invoices to customersRaising credit notes and emailing them to customersAssist the management accountant in other tasks regarding the preparation of the accounts on financial monitoring of the businessThe role requires someone with excellent purchase ledger experience, someone who can work on their own intuitive, who has a good attention to detail and excellent level of accuracy.In return you will be paid a competitive salary, a yearly bonus, 25 days holidays plus banks, free on site parking and pension.If you have strong Purchase Ledger experience and are looking for a new challenge, please apply to Tammy Smith now for an immediate interview.
