Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join our client in Acton. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with factory experience or warehouse background to contribute to efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and familiarity with assembly lines, hand tools, and power tools, ensuring smooth operations within our manufacturing facility.

Duties

• Operate and monitor machinery on the assembly line to ensure consistent production quality
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and products to identify defects or issues
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work area to promote a safe working environment
• Support warehouse activities such as inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets efficiently and effectively

Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing, factory work, or warehouse operations is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift materials up to 18kg
• Previous factory experience or knowledge of manufacturing processes will be considered a plus
• Must have Level 2 Food Safety Certification
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK
• Be able to work in cold environment. Can do moving, lifting

Salary & Terms

• Morning shift - 5am start
• Any 5 days out of 7
• -12.71 per hour
• PPE Required
• Warehouse/production background
