Our client is currently seeking an experienced CNC press brake operative to join their ever growing team in Chilton. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC press brake and metal forming machinery to produce precision components. Configure and adjust tooling, bend allowances, and machine programs for various materials (stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel). Verify and approve first-off parts to ensure conformance to engineering drawings and specifications. Conduct in-process quality checks and oversee quality compliance for other operators within the team. Support and mentor less experienced operators, providing guidance on safe operation, setup, and quality practices. Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical data. Identify and resolve production or quality issues promptly to minimise downtime. Monitor and maintain machine performance and carry out basic maintenance or fault reporting. Work closely with the Production and Quality teams to ensure all output meets required standards. Promote and uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency at all times. Person Specification: Formal engineering or manufacturing qualification preferred (e.g., NVQ, City and Guilds, or equivalent). Proven experience in CNC press brake or metal forming operations. Strong ability to set up, program, and adjust machinery independently. Excellent understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and specifications. Proficient in
