Senior CAD Technician I''m currently working with a well-established engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior CAD Technician to support a growing pipeline of major infrastructure and construction projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CAD professional with strong Tekla Structures and AutoCAD experience to join a highly technical engineering environment where you''ll work closely with engineers on complex steel and reinforced concrete structures. The business operates across a range of sectors including civil engineering, infrastructure, rail, highways, energy, and temporary works, and they are known for delivering practical, contractor-focused engineering solutions. The Role As a Senior CAD Technician, you''ll play a key role in the preparation, detailing, and modelling of steel and RC structures from engineering briefs, working collaboratively with engineers and wider project teams. This is a position suited to someone who can work with a good degree of autonomy, manage their own workload effectively, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects in line with quality, programme, and commercial expectations. You''ll also support and mentor junior technicians, helping to maintain high drafting standards and develop best practice across the team.
