We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations (ER) Consultant to join a leading financial services organisation on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fast-paced and varied role requiring both strategic ER expertise and hands-on operational delivery across a range of complex cases and people-related projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead on complex ER matters including disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance, and absence cases. Provide expert advice on TUPE, mergers and acquisitions, organisational change, and restructures from an ER perspective. Support and deliver ER workstreams across wider HR projects, ensuring alignment with business strategy and employment legislation. Partner with senior leaders and HR colleagues to manage risk, resolve issues, and promote best practice in people management. Prepare high-quality documentation, case summaries, reports, and recommendations. Identify ER trends, risks, and opportunities, offering proactive solutions to improve processes and employee outcomes. About You: Strong experience in an ER-focused role, ideally within financial services or another regulated industry. Proven background managing complex ER cases and providing expert guidance at pace. Solid understanding of TUPE, MandA activity, organisational change, and employment law. Able to operate both strategically and operationally, with excellent judgement and decision-making skills.
