The company has a strong pipeline of work and is looking to grow the design team.Projects - Residential and Social HousingKey DeliverablesProvide technical advice on proposal documents, presentations, and meetings.Conduct audits and technical reviews of tender information, subcontractor proposals, company proposals, and oversee secondary projects.Monitor and report compliance during adjudications.Develop understanding of clients’ ideas, expectations, and requirements, translating technical jargon into clear concepts and detailed designs.Prepare employer requirements and robust contractor proposals.Identify and evaluate design risks to ensure buildability, reducing company risk/claims.Identify scope gaps to mitigate risks and develop value engineering and programme opportunities.Review subcontractors’ proposals for value engineering opportunities.Produce detailed design programmes and delivery schedules.Maintain consistency in design management processes, including reviewing protocols, programmes, specifications, and scopes.Contribute to contractual documentation, negotiations, and dispute resolution.Ensure design delivery aligns with procurement strategy, project cost plan, and value engineering targets.Manage design change control and ensure compliance with the brief.Recommend and implement changes to project delivery plans and develop new project management tools and processes.Procure design services effectively.Manage consultant and subcontractor teams to ensure work meets specifications.Compile technical handover documentation, including HandS files, manuals, and user guides.Continuously develop the design management team and personal skills through lessons learned activities, integrating improvements into future projects.Proactively seek business development opportunities through professional networks.
