Senior Planner - Construction / Civil Infrastructure | Jacobs, Manchester, United KingdomThis role involves ensuring the successful and timely completion of large-scale construction and civil infrastructure projects, with a focus on Primavera P6 scheduling and NEC3/4 compliance. Travel to client sites across the UK will be required to maintain project alignment and client relationships.Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring milestones and deadlines are metAllocate resources effectively to meet project demands and timelinesTrack progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep the project on schedulePrepare and present regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and risksEnsure all project activities comply with NEC and other relevant regulations and standardsIdentify and mitigate risks related to project schedules and resource allocationCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and team members to ensure seamless project executionMaintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and compliance recordsWhat you’ll need
Proven experience in managing large-scale construction and civil infrastructure projectsAdvanced knowledge of Primavera P6 for project scheduling and managementStrong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and its application in constructionAnalytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to produce accurate schedules and reportsTeam player with ability to work collaborativelyWillingness and ability to travel to client sites across the UKDegree qualification and certifications such as PMP or equivalentOther information
Note: Jacobs operates a hybrid work environment and a 40-hour working week as standard.
