Justteachers is seeking an Exam invigilator, -who is looking for a Long term role, in a Secondary school in the Nelson area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in April 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up exam rooms following school and JCQ rules
• Hand out papers and materials correctly
• Supervise pupils during exams
• Make sure exam rules are followed at all times
• Record attendance and complete basic paperwork
• Collect exam papers safely and return them to staff
• Report any concerns or irregularities
• Help organise seating and room layouts
• Support pupils entering the room calmly and quietly

Requirements:

• Experience working in a UK secondary school environment
• Understanding of JCQ exam regulations
• Confident supervising pupils in a quiet exam setting
• Able to follow procedures and complete basic paperwork
