Purchasing and Logistics Co-Ordinator
Purchasing and Logistics Administrator required for Cam based Engineering company paying c (phone number removed) hours pw, 25 days holiday + stats. GL11 area of Cam. Our client provides high tech engineering solutions to a variety of industries including Nuclear, Automotive, Aerospace and Research and Development. Our client has a workforce of 11, the majority of whom have been with the business since it started in 2006. As this is a small workforce you are more than just a number and your role will be crucial in supporting the business to continue to grow. Working closely with the senior management team your role as Purchasing and Logistics Administrator will involve the following: - purchasing of all materials- creating purchasing BOM''s to ensure accurate materials costs- working from engineering drawings to establish what materials are required and ensuring they are in stock- booking in deliveries- checking invoices prior to sending to accounts for payment- creating correct shipping paperwork- arranging deliveries etc. via couriers- ensuring that stock levels are maintained at agreed levels As Purchasing and Logistics Administrator for our client you will be fully supported by the senior management team but you will need to have the following: - be familiar with using MS Office, particularly Excel- good telephone manner - previous experience of working in an office environment, preferably manufacturing/engineering- ability to work on your own initiative once trained Wo
