Lead Practitioner for SENDInner London Full-Time - 32.5 hours per week Start Date: 1 September 2025Permanent Leadership Scale L1-L5 (Inner London)Your New RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Lead Practitioner for SEND to join a forward-thinking and inclusive primary school within a dynamic federation in Inner London. This is a key leadership role for a dedicated professional who is committed to driving outstanding SEND provision and inclusive practice across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.We are looking for a highly skilled practitioner with:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven track record of outstanding teaching.Extensive SEND experience, including work with EHCPs, autism, SEMH, and SLCN.Leadership experience as a SENDCo, Assistant SENDCo, or similar.In-depth knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation.Strong assessment and intervention planning skills.A collaborative approach to multi-agency working.Experience in coaching, mentoring, and delivering CPD to staff.Desirable:NASENCo qualification (or working towards it).Expertise in inclusive teaching strategies and differentiation.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.A strategic mindset with the ability to contribute to whole-school improvement.What You''ll Get in ReturnYou''ll be joining a vibrant and supportive school community that offers:High-quality professional development and mentoring.A strong focus on staff wellbeing and mental heal
