Quality Engineer

Mpeople have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to join the expanding team of our well-established client based in the Tameside area. This position will work on a full time, permanent basis and due to the nature of the role, successful candidates will undergo 3 years of references and a DBS check. Role: Quality Engineer Location: Dukinfield Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Hours: 8am to 5pm, with an early finish on Fridays. Compressed hours available. Duties as Quality Engineer will include but not be limited to: Taking part in business reviews Analysing data and investigating and responding to non-conformances Regularly liaising with internal and external customers and suppliers Develop and maintain standard worksheets Maintaining calibration equipment and devices Regular calibration checks Focus on New Product Information start right activity Support regulatory and customer compliance audits Providing training and support RCCA workshops Support quality improvement and reduce waste etc Generating and monitoring FMEA, control panels and data Responsible for the quality of all products Generating QMS procedures, instructions and inspection plans Use of QA tools: NCRs / 8W / RCCA The successful Quality Engineer will possess the following skills: Experience as a Quality Engineer within aerospace, nuclear or similar setting Knowledge of FMEA, 8D, SPC, 5Y and Isikawa AS9100 FAIR collation/approval expertise Knowledge of NADCAP, ISO0991 or I
