As the Home Care Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a high-quality standard of care whilst growing the business. As Home Care/Domiciliary Manager, your responsibilities will include:CQC CompliancePlanning, directing, and delivering high-quality, person-centred carePromoting and safeguarding the welfare of those you supportEnsuring adherence to all company policies and proceduresOrganizing staff rotas, reviews, team meetings, training, and mentoringMarketing, promotion, and sales to grow the businessGenerating and developing new business opportunitiesOverall management of the businessWe are a family-run business providing quality residential care homes and support services to older people and those living with dementia. Our staff receive mandatory training including safeguarding, first aid, infection control, end-of-life care, health and safety, safe handling of medicines, and dementia care.Our history dates back to the 1980s when we built our first residential care home designed to meet the diverse needs of our residents. We now operate four care homes and offer daycare, respite, and home care services. Our teams are committed to providing exceptional care, and we seek passionate individuals to join us. We support career development through training opportunities and a comprehensive induction program.We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Home Care/Domiciliary Manager to join our established business. We offer a friendly environment, a competitive salary, and performance bonuses.At least 3 years of managerial experience in a caring environment, preferably domiciliary careProven good CQC recordNVQ Level 5 or working towards itStrong knowledge of CQC standardsLeadership and staff development skillsExperience in recruitment, selection, and retention of staffProfessional, confident, and warm personalityReliable and punctualWilling to provide out-of-hours ''on call'' serviceValid driving license, caring and compassionate attitudeCommitment to respecting clients’ rights, privacy, dignity, and independenceUnderstanding of homecare needs and best practicesWillingness to work towards relevant management qualification if not already qualifiedKnowledge of legal and regulatory responsibilities of a Registered ManagerUnderstanding of health and safety and risk management in homecareExcellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationshipsExperience in care services, risk assessment, and person-centered supportExperience in staff management, training, and supervisionEnhanced DBS disclosureDesired criteria include experience managing social care services as a registered manager and willingness to work flexibly.We value our employees'' dedication and offer competitive salaries and benefits to reward your hard work.
