This client is a leading manufacturer supplying high-tech components to a large variety of industries - from vacuums to nanoscience. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Mazak CNC machines. Role and Responsibilities:Set and operate a range of CNC machines (lathes, milling machines, and inspection equipment).Program CNC machines with the ability to understand technical drawings to inform programming and to fault-find where necessary.Working with a range of materials, primarily stainless steel. Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Experience with MAZAK Mazatrol system is essential.A recognised apprenticeship qualification in machining/turning/milling.At least 3 years'' experience working within a CNC role.It is advantageous to have experience with CAD.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
