The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and optimizing 5-axis mill-turn machines to produce complex, high-accuracy components. This role requires a strong background in CAD/CAM programming, fixture and work-holding design, and a deep understanding of machining strategies for maximum efficiency and tool life. Key Responsibilities Create, verify, and optimize CNC programs for 5-axis mill-turn machines. Use Edgecam software for programming (experience in other CAD/CAM systems also considered). Work with Heidenhain , Siemens 840D , and Fanuc controls. Design fixtures, jigs, and work-holding solutions to ensure accurate and stable machining. Select appropriate cutters, tools, speeds, and feeds for efficient and precise machining. Monitor and improve tool life and machining performance. Interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications. Work closely with engineers and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing processes.
