Terminal Development Project ManagerLocation: Major UK Airport (North of England) Contract: 2-Year Interim Role Rate: 550 - 650 per day (Umbrella)OverviewA major UK airport is seeking a Terminal Development Project Manager to lead a significant terminal redevelopment programme, supporting the transition of a currently non-operational terminal into full service.The role focuses on delivering complex projects within a live aviation environment, with strong emphasis on aviation security, passenger processing, retail improvements, and operational readiness.Key ResponsibilitiesLead delivery of terminal projects including security infrastructure, passenger processing areas, and retail/commercial fit-outsManage full project lifecycle from design and planning through to construction and handoverEnsure compliance with aviation security regulations and airport operational requirementsCoordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders including operations, security, commercial, and contractorsManage programme, budget, risk, and change control, with clear reporting to senior stakeholdersSupport phased delivery to minimise disruption to airport operations and passengersAct as client-side lead across design and delivery teamsRequirementsEssential:Experience delivering airport terminal or passenger-facing infrastructure projectsStrong understanding of airport operations and aviation security environmentsProven ability managing regulated, safety-critical projectsExcellent stakeholder management skill
