The Engineering Team Leader Role

• Leading and coordinating shift engineers
• Planned and reactive maintenance
• Supporting continuous improvement projects
• Driving engineering standards and uptime
• Prioritising breakdowns and engineering workload
• Supporting apprentices and developing engineers
• Working closely with production teams
• Managing contractor activity on site
• Supporting shutdowns and project work
• Monitoring downtime and recurring faults

Engineering Team Leader - What They''re Looking For

• Food, FMCG or other manufacturing engineering backgrounds
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Multi-skilled electrical engineering experience
• Fault finding experience on production machinery
• Planned and reactive maintenance competency
• Strong communication skills
• Experience using CMMS
• Health & Safety awareness
