3 days at siteDHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst RTR to play a vital role within our Finance function, performing all accounting processes for their respective operation. Our team of Finance specialists do so much more than crunch numbers. They add value to our business by truly understanding our data and helping our teams make informed, commercial decisions.WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?As part of your normal duties, you will be responsible for:Perform Controlling processes in scope for the respective site/customer like Reporting, Analysis, Budgeting and ForecastingRegular engagement with Accounting team, BU teams and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processesBuild deep business knowledge in your specialism to provide support for decision makingEffectively maintain Budget, forecast and reporting schedules for the customer/sites in scopeAdherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report productionParticipate in process improvement workshops and activityProvide regular updates to the Controlling Manager on process completion, issue resolution and any escalationsDeliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance managementSupport change programmesEnsure all Controlling processes on and off system are followed identifying continuous improvement opportunities to the Controlling ManagerManage individual workflow ensuring agreed deadlines are metWHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements - strong month end experience essential2-3 years experience of performing accounting in a logistics or similar industry would be a preferenceExperience of using Oracle Cloud would be a preferenceEffective time management skillsClear, effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skillsAbility to work well in a teamStrong financial and analytical skillsFlexible and resilientWHY JOIN US?We\''re happy to talk about flexible working – just ask about alternative patterns at interviewJoin our generous pension scheme and benefit from an 8% employer contribution, alongside a 4% employee contributionFree confidential 24/7 GP consultationsHundreds of retail and lifestyle discountsAffordable loans, savings schemes and free mortgage adviceVisit https://careers.dhl.com/global/en/working-at-dhl-supply-chain to learn moreWho we areWe\''re the global leaders in supply chain management with 188,000 people in over 50 countries.
