Are you experienced in frontline homelessness services? We''re seeking a committed Temporary Homeless Duty Officer to support a busy Housing Options team within a local authority in Essex. This is a full-time role, office-based role, providing frontline support to individuals at risk of or experiencing homelessness. You will play a key role in ensuring the council meets its statutory obligations under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2018, including assessing applications, allocating temporary accommodation, and providing housing advice at the public counter. The ideal candidate will be confident, experienced, and ready to make an immediate impact.
