You will be a true ambassador of Pan Pacific London, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Follow restaurants standards, policies and procedures with other team members.Maintain complete knowledge of:a) All food items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections availablein the restaurant.b)Every wine/champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list.c)Designated glassware and garnishes for drinks.d)All menu items, preparation method/time, ingredients, sauces, portion sizes, garnishes, presentation and prices.e) Daily menu specials and out-of-stock items.f)Dining room layout, table/seat/station numbers, proper table set-ups, room capacity, hours of operation, price range and dress code.g) Daily house count, arrivals/departures, and V.I.P.s reservationsBe aware of in-house group activities, locations and times.Correct maintenance and use of equipment.All department policies/service procedures.Assist in greeting and escorting guests to their tables according to departmental procedures, when needed. Ensure that tables are set to best service the guests.Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and at whatever time of day.
