Lead Insight Analyst

Overview
As part of the Customer and Marketing Insight team, you will focus on furthering our understanding of the ASOS customers behaviour to support sustainable and profitable growth.We are looking for a person who is comfortable using large data sets to draw clear and relevant conclusions. You''ll work with stakeholders across the business, gaining a better understanding of their analytical needs allowing you to make suggestions for strategic testing and changes and see your findings being implemented for a better customer experience.The Details
Monitor and analyse customer health KPIs to surface opportunities and risks.Profiling customer behaviour by market to help stakeholders understand our audience and plan activities accordingly.Managing customer value segmentation and measuring the effectiveness of actions aimed at migrating customers to favourable segments.Understand different types of customer behaviour through analytics and building statistical models for segmentation and propensity analysis.Championing a test and learn approach with the customer team, helping to define testing roadmaps, structuring tests, then drawing insight and recommendations from results.Consistently bring new ideas to the table and proactively push for change based on the findings of your analysis relating to business questions, analytics approaches, datasets and ways of working.Respond to ad hoc data requests as required whilst ensuring we are enabling the business to self-serve where possible.Qualifications
About You
Proven experience in Customer Analytics - understanding how data and insights fuel growth and profitability to shape commercial decisions.Strong technical skills: SQL (advanced, daily use), Python (intermediate), high proficiency in Excel.Expertise in extracting, analysing and storytelling with large datasets to deliver end-to-end analysis that drives business impact.A customer-obsessed mindset, with the ability to interpret trends through a customer lens and translate them into actionable strategies.Excellent communication skills, with confidence in presenting compelling data stories that influence stakeholders at all levels.A collaborative approach, acting as an analytical thought partner who can translate business questions into data driven solutions.A detail-oriented, proactive, and flexible mindset, with the ability to simplify complex problems and ensure quality and accuracy in every output.We believe being together in person helps us move faster, connect more deeply, and achieve more as a team.
