A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Senior Fire Engineer to join their expanding national team.

This Senior Fire Engineer role suits a technically strong, client-facing specialist who thrives on complex projects, mentoring others, and driving best practice.

The Senior Fire Engineer will contribute to high-profile schemes across multiple sectors while supporting the growth of a dynamic fire engineering function.

The Senior Fire Engineer''s Role

• Lead delivery of performance-based and compliant fire strategies
• Work across sectors including healthcare, education, commercial and residential
• Provide guidance from concept through to completion
• Ensure compliance with ADB, BS 9991, BS 9999, NFPA and EN standards
• Oversee fire and smoke modelling, evacuation analysis and smoke control
• Act as Technical Lead on complex, multidisciplinary projects
• Engage with clients, stakeholders and approval authorities
• Deliver clear, commercially aware technical advice

The Senior Fire Engineer

• Experience delivering fire strategies for complex buildings
• Background within a consultancy environment
• Proficient in FDS, PyroSim, Pathfinder or similar tools
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Collaborative and proactive approach

Qualifications:

• Degree in Fire Engineering or related discipline
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards (IFE or equivalent)
