As a Principal Infrastructure Engineer you will play a pivotal role in building and enhancing the infrastructure that powers the fast-growing retail brokerage business, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the infrastructure. You will take a lead role in the design of secure, scalable and resilient infrastructure including on-premise, cloud and hybrid, collaborating closely with software engineers, DevOps and SRE teams to align infrastructure with application requirements and define infrastructure standards across a range of teams.Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for Nutanix HCI, managing several thousand virtual machinesDrive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as TerraformDesign and implement secure, scalable and resilient infrastructure across on-premise, cloud and hybrid environmentsCollaborate with software engineers, DevOps and SRE teams to align infrastructure with application requirementsDefine infrastructure standards and best practices across multiple teamsLocation / Working Arrangements

Location / WFH: Hybrid model with two days per week from home; when in the office you’ll be based in the City with an upbeat team environment.About you / Qualifications

Deep knowledge of Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), combining infrastructure, virtualization and cloud-native skillsExperience with hypervisors (Hyper-V in Nutanix clusters), VM provisioning, live migration, cloning, snapshots and Disaster Recovery within HCI environmentsAbility to troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage and network layersTechnical leadership and mentoring skillsCollaborative and pragmatic with strong communication skills, comfortable working with other teams and business stakeholdersWhat’s in it for you
