Working within a team of 8 individuals this is a newly created role to the business. Key Responsibilities:Technical Support: Provide advanced 2nd and 3rd line IT support, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex issues. Focus on finding the root cause and implementing permanent solutions.Platform Expertise: Work with Windows (or Linux) platforms, with a willingness to deepen knowledge in both. Visualisation and Storage: Administer visualisation technologies and storage arrays.Patch Management and Backup: Manage patching processes using software like SCCM or Intune, and handle backup concepts and software.Incident Management: Use commercial Incident, Problem, and Change management tools Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of systems, procedures, and incident resolutions.
