OverviewAn international creative marketing consultancy, dedicated to delivering exceptional results for our clients, is looking for a qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Head of Finance to add commercial input and help drive strategy.

We are looking for a proactive, commercial Head of Finance to manage and oversee the financial operations of the business. You will lead a small finance team and work closely with the management team to ensure the financial health and stability of the company.

ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning and Analysis:

Develop and manage the company''s budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Prepare accurate and timely cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity.

Analyse financial performance against key metrics and provide actionable insights to the management team.

Project Costing and Work in Progress:

Working closely with the delivery team, accurately cost projects, ensuring all financial aspects are considered, and margins are optimized.

Monitor and manage work in progress, ensuring that all projects are accounted for and invoiced promptly.

Implement and maintain robust financial controls over project costing and WIP.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the management team, providing clear explanations of financial performance and variances.

Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems, driving efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Xero financial software, Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong emphasis on collaboration and hands-on involvement.
