is part of the Risk function, leading transformation efforts under the NAPA (New and Amended Product Approval) programme. This initiative is a key component of Barclays'' Minevra three-year plan to be Simpler, Better and More Balanced. You will drive robust functional business requirements across the programme and ensure they are effectively translated between technical and business stakeholders. You will lead and oversee a team of Business Analysts—both permanent and external—fostering a centre of excellence in transformation and embedding operational risk expertise into the change agenda. Your leadership will be instrumental in collaborating with Product Owners and change leads and risk SMEs to ensure seamless execution of change initiatives. You will be a strategic partner across the transformation programme with opportunities to support other principal risk initiatives. You should have a strong foundation in both technical and business analysis, ensuring documentation is clear and actionable, aligned with programme objectives. This is a high-impact role with potential to grow into broader risk transformation leadership.Responsibilities

Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring Business Analysts within complex transformation programmes.Considerable stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to present to and influence senior executives.In-depth knowledge of operational risk structures, with experience across risk types such as operational, treasury, and capital risk.Demonstrated ownership of the full requirements lifecycle, ensuring clarity, quality, and alignment across teams, including understanding how requirements feed into both agile and waterfall methodologies.Ability to simplify and communicate complex information in a structured manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in the role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.Purpose of the role

To support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.Accountabilities

Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.Development of business requirements that address business problems and opportunities.Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.Creation of operational design and process design to ensure proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.Barclays Values and Mindset
