As an Assembler, you will play a key role in assembling, testing, and optimising our complex gearboxes and sub-assemblies. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and teamwork, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for excellence.Key Responsibilities:Assemble, strip, and evaluate complex gearboxes and sub-assemblies, ensuring all work adheres to AS9100 and relevant specifications.Use laser marking and part marking to identify components accurately.Collaborate effectively with multiple departments to optimise assembly processes.Interpret and follow engineering drawings and work instructions to assemble parts and subassemblies correctly.Conduct testing of assembled gearboxes to ensure functionality and quality.Ideal Candidate:Proven experience in assembly or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.Proficiency with a variety of manual hand tools and conventional machine tools.Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and comprehend complex assembly drawings.Capable of identifying and reporting defective materials or assembly issues promptly.Basic knowledge of wiring and experience affixing electrical motors would be a distinct advantage.Benefits:Competitive salary aligned with your experienceComp
